Hey everyone! Happy Friday! My post is a little delayed being posted today, we had a rough couple of days around here, but what else is new? I’ll fill you in next week. I wanted to join in on the fun with Cynthia, Courtney and Mar for the Friday Five though! Today’s Friday Five topic is 5 Fitness Trends I’ll never try. I racked my brain trying to figure out what those were and only came up with 3. But there are WAY more fitness trends that I really want to try than not, so I thought I would go that direction instead!
2. TRX: I’ve used a TRX system here and there, but I know there are classes out there dedicated just to this. Dying to go to one.
3. Trampoline classes: have you seen these?? They look so incredibly intense and FUN! I would probably die, but I NEED to try!
4. Surfset Fitness: I orginally heard about this from Salt and Deborah. This looks like so much fun and super challenging! SURFSET® is all about getting away from the traditional static workout and challenging your body in new ways. Every exercise on the board is designed to engage your core & stabilizer muscles and shock the system to create real change inside & out.
5. Solidcore: I’ve already done this and as hard as it was I would LOVE to go back. If only it weren’t so expensive.
As for the ones I have no interest in trying?
Crossfit. No desire. Can’t say why, just don’t want to.
Zumba. I have no dance moves or rhythm, would feel like an idiot and not really my thing.
Obstacle course races. I’m a clutz and would totally break a
