I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Hello, my name is Sue and I’m addicted to running/workout clothes. There is truly nothing like a good quality outfit to make you feel like a million bucks when pounding the pavement or hitting the gym. Sounds really superficial, I know, but feeling good in something really can build your confidence.
I’m pretty picky when it comes to my workout clothes. Picking the right clothes can really make or break your workout.
I sweat…A LOT….so they must dry quickly.
They must stay up. I don’t want to be hiking my pants up constantly when I’m running.
They must be cute. Duh.
I need flat seams. No chaffage is important to me. Very. Important.
So when I got the opportunity to try out some of the Champion© new All Gain No Pain™ line, I was all over it.
All Gain No Pain™ Introduces Can-do Comfort so you can run more, train more, do more. Performance apparel for Real Champions built with Champion Vapor® fast drying technology, chafe resistant seams, and ultra-light fabric. #REALCHAMPIONS
I walk by the Champion section in Target all of the time and they always have super cute stuff. So I’m no stranger to their clothes, but this line was new to me.
The key components of the new line: Vapor Technology, super light weight and chafe resistant.
I received the following to test out on my runs and my gym workouts!
- Women’s PerforMax® Marathon Knee Tight
- Women’s PerforMax® Marathon Tee
- Champion Curvy Show off Bra and Marathon Bra
- Women’s PerforMax® Marathon Printed Packable Jacket
I really got a great chance to try them out for all different types of workouts. First off the fabric of all of the pieces were absolutely amazing. Super soft and lightweight and super comfy. All of the pieces were amazing and a higher quality than I remember from old school Champion products. They have really come a long way. I haven’t tried super light weight fabric like this before and I was totally sold.
The Marathon top had a few features that I totally loved. I’m a bit self conscious of my back side so I loved that the hem was longer in the back. The asymmetrical mesh panel in the back was awesome and did an awesome job of wicking the sweat away and dried SO quickly.
The Marathon Knee tights were awesome as well. These were designed for running but I used them for a regular gym workout as well and felt that they performed great.
They felt like they were compression material (although Champion does not claim that). The reflective details were a huge plus for me as I do a lot of my runs at Zero dark thirty. Mesh panels at the bottom of the leg opening were great also. I have many tights like this and it’s a quality that I look for when I’m purchasing new clothes, so a BIG plus.
The biggest highlight for me with the pants was the HUGE pocket in the waistband. It fit my Iphone comfortably and didn’t cause any bouncing issues. I run with my phone for safety and it’s hard to find a place to keep it if I’m running without my hydration pack, so this was AWESOME.
Loved this jacket. Super light weight. And while it’s not wind resistant it IS water resistant. It even folds up into it a zipped back mesh-lined pocket for easy packing! And after my trip to Paris, I definitely appreciate anything that will help me pack efficiently! This also had a longer back hem, LOVE.
Both sports bras were awesome as well. Both had great support and kept the girls in place! (Sorry, no pics of those on.)
Ya’ll know I’m picky about my clothes and they really need to take me from my workout to my daily errands and I felt like the cute factor was enough to do that for me. Definitely All Gains and No Pain, it stays true to it’s tag line.Check out the new #ALLGAINNOPAIN line with @ChampionUSA and @suzy399 #realchampions #ad Click To Tweet
