Anyone else a snacker? I am and my kids are. In fact, I’m pretty sure my kids could live on snacks. They start to cry if use the terms breakfast, lunch or dinner. My youngest will not eat anything…. unless it is called a snack. This can get very tricky and can be a delicate situation. The snacks that they prefer of course are all white and carbohydrates. I’ve tried to eliminate as many processed snacks that I possibly can by making some homemade snacks and by using lots of fruits but sometimes it’s just not possible and I need to be able to grab something quick from my pantry. But I keep getting stuck on the same old things…Cliff Z-bars, pretzels, cheese sticks….the variety is lacking. There are so many great new “healthy” snacks coming into the market these days but I’m always hesitant to buy something new in case the kids don’t like it….if that’s the case, then I’ve just wasted my money. But I want to stay away from the traditional gold fish, animal crackers.
Well, I’ve discovered a new way that I can try out new, healthy , hard to find, all natural snacks with none of the artificial stuff that you find in your traditional snacks for kids. It’s called Love with Food.
Love with Food is a subscription box that sends you a variety of natural and/or organic snacks once a month. There are a ton of subscription boxes out there on the market, but I discovered something about Love with Food that makes them different from all the rest.
I’ve talked recently about supporting companies that support our local communities with Skoop and Bombas, and I’m adding this one to the list. I would gladly spend my money on a box like this that gives back to the community than any of the other subscription boxes out there….period dot.
There are 3 different plans to choose from
- Tasting box– 8-10 snacks, $10-12/month, one meal donated to a food bank
- Deluxe box– 16-20 snacks, $17-20/month, two meals donated to food bank
- Gluten free box– 12-15 snacks, $24.50-29/month, two meals donated to food bank
The cool thing is that if you find a snack you really like, you can go on the Love with Food shop on their website and are able to purchase more of the snacks that you loved!
Here is a look at the box I received.
It was an awesome variety and it was gone in less than a day. My kids LOVED everything in this box. It also came with a bunch of coupons and a pamplet describing each item in the box!
Well, with the exception of the tea, spices, hemp and my favorite thing (there was no way I was letting them get this one….this one was for mama!)
Oh yea, this was da bomb diggity….
Did I just say da bomb diggity? Oy.
I digress….I have already signed up for a subscription for myself (I liked it THAT much) and want you to try a box out too! Thank goodness I’m the one who grabs the mail otherwise I have a feeling some dirty little boy hands would be all over this before I had the opportunity to check it out! Mine…all mine boys…
Love for Food would love for YOU to try out a box for free!! Just pay $2 shipping and handling! This may require you to sign up for a subscription, so be aware, but you many cancel at any time. Just click HERE to get your free box!
