Not too long ago, I was sent a complimentary jar of Reese’s Spreads Peanut Butter Chocolate, 13 Ounce
(affiliate link) from Influenster to review. It sat in my pantry for a little while because I couldn’t figure out what to do with it other than to dip ALL the pretzels and apples in it. It got a little out of hand. I wanted to do something a bit more creative… So I bring you Reese’s Peanut Butter Brownies.
So these are definitely not your typical brownies and while I can’t say they are protein packed and SUPER healthy, they are a tasty little treat. One mini brownie gives you approximately 130 calories, 6 grams of protein, and 5 grams of fat. So all in all not too bad. Much better than your standard brownie mix if you ask me! Well, maybe a little better. Sugar content is the same, BUT 6 grams of protein vs. 1 gm in a standard brownie mix! SEE?! It IS healthier! Ok, ok…it’s still an indulgence and to be indulged in moderation of course. But it sure is easier to justify!
