How many of your kids or significant others or family members eat whatever you put in front them? I remember when my kids were babies, they would eat anything and everything. Then…enter the toddler years. Unless it was a carbohydrate (i.e. bread) or dairy (i.e. cheese) it was shoved aside. And now, if it isn’t macaroni and cheese, chicken nuggets, fish sticks (homemade) or PB&J forget about it! I stay up at night worrying at how I am ever going to get a vegetable into my kid. We tried every tactic known to man. Bribery of course. Who DOESN’T bribe their kids? They we resorted to “if you don’t eat it for dinner you will eat it for breakfast”….I know, a bit harsh but it worked….for a little while. Getting my kids to eat fruit is not an issue. They would eat fruit all day if they could, it’s the veggies that are the problem.
So, I wanted to share a few of the go-to recipes I use to help incorporate healthy things into their diet. I haven’t re-invented the wheel. I just don’t have time to create a test kitchen in my house, so Pinterest is my friend. I want the share the pins I have found that my kids actually enjoy!! So here you go! I’ve tested all of these and can vouch that they are all great!!
So go check these great recipes out and see if your kids or family members like them! You won’t be disappointed!!
